The Pump Station Mural is a collaboration between Lower Murray Water, artist George Rose, our Cultivator team and the students from SuniTAFE. The two large murals will be fixed to our pump station located adjacent to the new Mildura Rowing Club and cafe complex on the riverfront. Created by mural artist George Rose the project involved cross-collaboration between education, cultural, creative and inter generational groups. The vibrant murals will enhance the riverfront precinct - keep an eye on our page for when we launch this amazing artwork :)
Every year we have the most amazing speakers share their creative journey and stories with us and the 2016 conference was no exception. A big thanks to Jihad Dib (NSW Shadow Minister of Education), Marita Cheng (2Mar Robotics), Dan Koerner (Sandpit), Kurt & Matilda (Andamooka Yacht Club) and Eddie Zammit (T-World) for sharing your inspirational stories and experiences.
The Cluster Box Project is a collaboration between Lower Murray Water, Cultivator Inc and members of the Merbein community that celebrates the rich history and cultural diversity of Merbein. The project is ongoing as there are a number of cluster boxes spread along what was the old channel that carried water to the vineyards and citrus orchards, replaced by the Sunraysia Modernisation Project pipeline. We will continue to run workshops with the Merbein community with 'ideas in to action' and skills based learning workshops.
