‘For Real’ is set to become Broken Hill’s new catchcry. The tagline is part of a new tourism brand which focuses on Broken Hill’s authenticity and that the city is ‘for real’. It reinforces the city’s down-to-earth style and promotes authentic experiences, lifestyle and investment opportunities.

“This is an exciting time for us,” says Broken Hill Mayor, Wincen Cuy. “ Broken Hill has always had a strong image which we now understand more clearly through the development of this brand strategy. People worldwide will be able to recognise Broken Hill – for our heritage, our people and our courageous commitment to retaining our unvique lifestyle well into the future.”

Andrea Roberts, Manager of Economic Development at Broken Hill City Council will present the project and provide insight into working with Design Studio, Frost Design.
